Berlin Art Week 2018.
The Intelligence Department Studios, built in 1985 and located within the former Operative Technical Sector building in the restricted area of the Berlin-Alt-Hohenschönhausen, was originally operated by the Ministry of State Security. At one point responsible for the development, production and maintenance of all espionage equipment, including wiretapping devices, cameras, camouflage and monitoring instruments, the building is now offering studio spaces for artists, ranging from 18 to 150 square meters.
