Lange Nacht der Bilder 2021

I have never visited an animal shelter, but I imagine it's a little bit like visiting an open studio: a vague sense of  desperation, surrounded by the smell of shit.

In spite of, or because of that feeling,  I'll be in mine all night (maybe), on September 3rd, as part of the newly formed Studios ID Collective , for this years' Lange Nacht der Bilder ,

Lange Nacht der "Studios-ID"

Studios ID played a central role in this year's Lange Nacht der Bilder.
Over 60 artists opened their studios to the public and a group exhibition: FREIHEIT_ID! hung around the formally inaccessable 'Copper room',  was transformed into an artist's lounge and officially opened by the Mayor of Lichtenberg.
Bus tours, guided tours, artist talks, music, drinks, BBQ, Chilean food by La Picá de Deli Mel all made for an eventful evening.

Some Press.

Here is a little article about the Open Studios ID event and a bonus conversation with Nietzsche! If your German is as good as mine you can just look at the pretty pictures. Thanks to Thomas Potyka and Der gute Pol for the attention.
